Bumi melebar atau Bumi bertumbuh adalah sebuah hipotesis yang menyatakan bahwa posisi dan pergerakan relatif benua setidaknya sebagian karena volume Bumi yang meningkat. Selain itu, pendinginan global geosifika menjadi hipotesis yang dapat menjelaskan pengerutan Bumi.
Meskipun hipotesis tersebut telah ada sejak lama, semenjak pengakuan tektonik lempeng pada 1970an, konsensus saintifik telah menolak teori pelebaran atau pengerutan Bumi.[1][2][3][4][5]
