Otto Robert Frisch FRS[1] () adalah seorang fisikawan Austria-Inggris. Bersama dengan kolaborator Jerman-Inggrisnya Rudolf Peierls,[2] ia merancang mekanisme tearetikal untuk denotasi bom atom pada 1940.[3]
Ikhtisar
Frisch adalah seorang Yahudi yang lahir di Wina, Austria, pada 1904, sebagai putra dari Justinian Frisch, seorang pelukis, dan Auguste Meitner Frisch, seorang pianis konser.
Pada hari raya Natal pada 1938, ia mengunjungi bibinya Lise Meitner di Kungälv.
Pensiun
Ia meninggal pada 1979. Putranya, Tony Frisch, juga merupakan seorang fisikawan.
