Neodimium (60Nd) yang terbentuk secara alami terdiri dari lima isotop stabil, 142Nd, 143Nd, 145Nd, 146Nd dan 148Nd, dengan 142Nd sebagai yang paling melimpah (27,2% kelimpahan alami), dan 2 radioisotop berumur panjang, 144Nd dan 150Nd. Secara keseluruhan, 33 radioisotop neodimium telah dikarakterisasi hingga sekarang, dengan yang paling stabil adalah isotop alami 144Nd (peluruhan alfa, waktu paruh (t1/2) 2,29 tahun) dan 150Nd (peluruhan beta ganda, t1/2 7 tahun). Semua isotop radioaktif yang tersisa memiliki waktu paruh kurang dari 12 hari, dan sebagian besar memiliki waktu paruh kurang dari 70 detik; isotop buatan yang paling stabil adalah 147Nd dengan waktu paruh 10,98 hari. Unsur ini juga memiliki 13 keadaan meta yang diketahui dengan yang paling stabil adalah 139mNd (t1/2 5,5 jam), 135mNd (t1/2 5,5 menit) dan 133m1Nd (t1/2 ~70 detik).

Mode peluruhan utama sebelum isotop stabil yang paling melimpah, 142Nd, adalah penangkapan elektron dan emisi positron, sedangkan mode utama sesudahnya adalah peluruhan beta. Produk peluruhan utama sebelum 142Nd adalah isotop unsur 59 (praseodimium) dan produk utama sesudahnya adalah isotop unsur 61 (prometium).
