Praseodimium (59Pr) yang terbentuk secara alami hanya terdiri dari satu isotop stabil, 141Pr; oleh karena itu, praseodimium adalah unsur monoisotop dan mononuklida. Tiga puluh delapan radioisotop telah dikarakterisasi dengan yang paling stabil adalah 143Pr, dengan waktu paruh 13,57 hari dan 142Pr, dengan waktu paruh 19,12 jam. Semua isotop radioaktif yang tersisa memiliki waktu paruh kurang dari 5,985 jam dan sebagian besar memiliki waktu paruh kurang dari 33 detik. Unsur ini juga memiliki 15 status meta dengan yang paling stabil adalah 138mPr (t1/2 2,12 jam), 142mPr (t1/2 14,6 menit), dan 134mPr (t1/2 11 menit).

Isotop praseodimium memiliki berat atom berkisar mulai dari 120,955 u (121Pr) hingga 158,955 u (159Pr). Mode peluruhan utama sebelum isotop stabil, 141Pr, adalah penangkapan elektron dan mode sesudahnya adalah peluruhan beta. Produk peluruhan utama sebelum 141Pr adalah isotop unsur 58 (serium) dan produk utama sesudahnya adalah isotop unsur 60 (neodimium).
