Active electronically scanned array (AESA), juga dikenal sebagai active phased array radar (APAR), adalah jenis radar array bertahap yang fungsi pemancar dan penerima (transceiver) terdiri dari banyak transmit/receive modules (TRMs).
AESA radar mengarahkan "beam" mereka dengan memancarkan gelombang radio yang terpisah dari setiap modul yang mengganggu konstruktif pada sudut tertentu di depan antena.
