Holmium (67Ho) yang terbentuk secara alami hanya terdiri dari satu isotop stabil, 165Ho. Tabel di bawah ini mencantumkan 36 isotop yang mencakup 140Ho hingga 175Ho serta 33 isomer nuklir. Di antara isotop radioaktif sintetis yang diketahui, yang paling stabil adalah 163Ho, dengan waktu paruh 4.570 tahun. Semua radioisotop lain memiliki waktu paruh tidak lebih dari 1,117 hari dalam keadaan dasarnya (walaupun 166m1Ho yang metastabil memiliki waktu paruh sekitar 1.200 tahun), dan sebagian besar memiliki waktu paruh di bawah 3 jam.

Holmium merupakan unsur paling ringan yang satu-satunya isotop alaminya stabil secara pengamatan, artinya diperkirakan bersifat radioaktif dan meluruh, tetapi peluruhan sebenarnya belum teramati. Jika 165Ho ditemukan menjadi radioaktif, maka holmium akan menjadi unsur tanpa isotop stabil paling ringan ketiga (keempat jika samarium (Z = 62) atau europium (Z = 63) juga radioaktif, kelima jika samarium dan europium juga radioaktif), setelah teknesium (Z = 43) dan prometium (Z = 61).
