Lyman James Briggs
Lyman James Briggs () adalah seorang insinyur, fisikawan dan administrator Amerika Serikat. Ia adalah direktur ketiga National Bureau of Standards (NBS) pada masa Depresi Besar dan ketua Uranium Committee sebelum Amerika Serikat memasuki Perang Dunia Kedua. Lyman Briggs College di Michigan State University diambil dari namanya.
