Isotop radon

Ada 37 isotop radon (86Rn) yang diketahui, mulai dari 195Rn hingga 231Rn; semuanya bersifat radioaktif. Isotop radon yang paling stabil adalah 222Rn dengan waktu paruh 3,823 hari, meluruh menjadi 218Po. Lima isotop radon, 217, 218, 219, 220, 222Rn terjadi dalam jumlah renik di alam sebagai produk peluruhan, masing-masing, 217At, 218At, 223Ra, 224Ra, dan 226Ra. 217Rn diproduksi di cabang langka dalam rantai peluruhan 237Np dalam jumlah renik; 218Rn dan 222Rn merupakan langkah-langkah perantara dalam rantai peluruhan 238U; 219Rn merupakan langkah perantara dalam rantai peluruhan 235U; dan 220Rn terjadi pada rantai peluruhan 232Th.
