Kuguaglikosida adalah salah satu dari beberapa senyawa kimia (glikosida triterpenoid kukurbitana) yang diisolasi dari akar pare (Momordica charantia, disebut kǔguā dalam bahasa Cina) oleh J.-C. Chen dan lainnya.[1]
Kuguaglikosida adalah glikosida turunan triterpena, dengan kerangka kukurbitana. Senyawa ini berupa padatan tak berwarna, larut dalam metanol, etil asetat, dan butanol.[2] Termasuk di antaranya:
- Kuguaglikosida A: 3β-hidroksi-7β-metoksikukurbita-5,24-dien-23-il β-glukopiranosida, [3]
- Kuguaglikosida B: 3β-hidroksi-25-metoksikukurbita-5,23-dien-7β-il β-glukopiranosida, [4]
- Kuguaglikosida C: 7β-(β-glukopiranosiloksi)-3β-hidroksiukurbita-5,23,25-trien-19-al, (jarum tak berwarna)[5]
- Kuguaglikosida D: 3β,19,23-trihidroksikukurbita-5,24-dien-7β-il β-glukopiranosida, [6]
- Kuguaglikosida E: 23-(β-glukopiranosiloksi)-3β,19-dihidroksikukurbita-5,24-dien-7β-il β-glukopiranosida, [7]
